June Update 2025

Dear Prayer Partners and Supporters,

We’re closing out June with full hearts. It’s been a tough but incredibly productive month, and your faithful prayers and support have made all the difference. Thank you for standing with us!

Carol’s Recovery

We are grateful to report that Carol is recovering well from her recent hip replacement surgery. It was a difficult start, but with God’s grace (and your prayers!), she is regaining strength and mobility daily. Please continue lifting her up for full healing.

Mission Impact – Texas and Oregon

JFYM-Leader Training: Two Declaration interns and I trained 27 adult and student leaders in Jesus Focused Youth Ministry at a 4-hour seminar in Galveston for FBC Lake Jackson.

Richmond, TX – Sports Camp & Salvation

Our campus missionaries led a dynamic Mission Sports Camp. Through sweat, service, and sharing the gospel, the team witnessed 13 students make decisions for Christ!

Hillsboro, OR – Worship with Heart & Culture

Another team served at Point of Encounter, a church plant in Hillsboro, Oregon. Led by a student worship team, this multicultural experience featured drama, dance, interpretive worship, readings, and all elements were presented in Spanish—honoring the congregation’s rich cultural tradition. The impact was both powerful and personal.

SE Portland – The Garden Church

At The Garden Church, our team tackled a full schedule:

  • Prayer walks through the neighborhood

  • Youth leader training sessions

  • Major landscaping projects for the church and parsonage

  • Outreach to local businesses through card distribution

  • Two youth events, reaching students—most of whom had never been to church before

The team went all-in, building relationships, leading small groups, sharing the Gospel, and helping launch a new student ministry presence. Their dedication and energy were unmatched.

Equipping & Evangelism – What’s Next?

As we turn the corner into July and August, we are full steam ahead:

  • 220 Camp & LEAD Camp – We’re deep in preparation mode, training leaders, promoting campus ministry, and getting students equipped for the fall.

  • Local July Outreaches – Two additional outreach events are coming up in Five Oaks and Third Ward, where we will continue to connect with unreached students and serve local communities.

  • “Footprints on Campus” – August Prayer Walks
In August, we are partnering with state strategists to lead prayer walks at 700+ campuses across Texas. Our goal is to see every school covered in prayer before students return—boldly asking God to prepare the way for revival.

  • New Tools – Adopt-a-School Movement
We’ve launched QR code stickers at camps that point students and leaders to a custom website. There, they can access tools, resources, and officially adopt their schools for prayer and outreach. This initiative is already gaining traction across the state! Click here to see where they are sent.

  • Ongoing Prayer – “Pray for Texas Schools”
Through our Facebook page, we’re encouraging believers to lift up students and campuses across Texas in daily prayer. God is moving through your intercession.

  • Campus Connections – Strengthening the Network
Our Campus Alliance steering team continues working to unite over 70 youth organizations across the US in adopting schools. We continue to meet with our Campus Connections team to maximize partnerships, resource sharing, and kingdom impact. Every conversation is opening new doors for ministry. Through Accelerate Texas, we’ve tripled our team size and are multiplying state-wide.

Thank You
We are truly humbled by what God is doing—and we know we are not in this alone. Thank you for giving, praying, encouraging, and believing with us. Your faithfulness fuels this mission.

With gratitude and expectation,
Rick

Thank you all again for your love and support.
